We Have the Answers to All Your Questions

The Numbers Game
We have multiple branches across the country. Can you devise a system where all these remote locations function as a single operation?

At Communications by Johnson, we’re experts at creating multi-location telecommunications solutions. We have years of experience and thousands of satisfied customers with just this issue. So whether you have a single secondary location across town or dozens of ancillary branches throughout the U.S., we can bundle your communications functions into a single system. Invoices can be consolidated into one bill; we can create a dedicated account management system, universal online tools, customized reporting, teleconferencing and more.

Growing Up Too Fast
We just had an entire new system installed four years ago and are finding that with our rapid subsequent growth, some important facets are quickly becoming obsolete. Must we start from scratch and design an entirely new system or can we retrofit solutions?

Like successful city plans that build highways out in the middle of nowhere to allow for growth, proper design of a complete telecommunications system involves compensating for the future. It’s unfortunate, but at Communications by Johnson, we often run into this issue where competing telecommunications companies have installed systems that account only for today. Creating solutions to this prevalent problem has made us leaders in the field. We can design short-term patches to get your company through the next quarter or create longer-term temporary solutions until your company outgrows its current location and can benefit from its anticipated move into a brand new facility. Depending on your needs, however, it’s not uncommon for a complete upgrade to be more cost-effective than short-term solutions. We’ll work with you to help determine your best plan of action.

TMA (Too Many Acronyms)
What's an SIP?

The Session Initiation Protocol (SIP) is a signaling protocol used for establishing sessions in an IP network. Over the last couple of years, the Voice over IP community has adopted SIP as its protocol of choice. A session could be a simple two-way telephone call or it could be a collaborative multi-media conference session. The ability to establish these sessions means that a host of innovative services become possible, such as voice-enriched e-commerce, web page click-to-dial, Instant Messaging with buddy lists, and IP Centrex services. At Communications by Johnson, we’re experts in the implementation of SIP in a VoIP system.

Down and Out
In 2008, Tropical Storm Fay did a number on our facility and despite power being out for less than 24 hours, our entire telecommunications system was down for a week. The outage cost our company nearly $400,000 in revenues. How can we avoid this in the future?

When you contract with Communications by Johnson, we don’t just install and leave. Our maintenance agreements are backed by disaster crews who respond immediately whether your issue is a minor quickly repaired glitch or a complete disaster-relief restoration. Time is money and we’re committed to getting your business up and running as quickly as is humanly possible no matter the extent of the problem.
